What's New in Lighting
Litegear's new LiteMat+ Plus series of LED light
fixtures feature and a PL7 locking connection which
is the same for every size of LiteMat+ Plus, and the
new LiteDimmer+ Plus series of dimmers with builtin camera battery mounts. LiteMat is available in five
sizes.
Litepanels' Gemini is a 2 x 1 RGB-WW soft panel
combining daylight, tungsten, and red-green-blue
LEDs to allow color adjustment. Achieving white light
by mixing red, green and blue can create undesirable
color spikes. Gemini eliminates this problem by
giving users a daylight-to-tungsten light foundation
and then enabling them to adjust color throughout
the full 360-degree color wheel.

Mole Richardson's 1600W Tener LED is available
in tungsten (model 9361) and daylight (model 9371).
Both include ballast, an eight meter head cable and
a power cable.
PAG's Paglight allows a range of lighting
technologies to be used with one lamp head.
Interchangeable LED, tungsten halogen or HMI arc
lighting modules, plug into the back of the reflector
housing. The Paglight LED delivers 900 lux at
two meters distance, the equivalent of a 50 watt
halogen, achieved by focusing the output of the
emitters via an integrated lens and by positioning
the LED module within the Paglight reflector. Power
consumption is 11 watts. Intensity can be controlled

using the dimming facility incorporated in the LED
module. The Paglight lamp head incorporates a spot
to flood feature for additional control, a feature not
commonly found in camera top-lights. The lamp
body has a multi-directional mounting and can
be adjusted vertically and horizontally. The
desired position can be maintained by a locking lever
situated on the side of the light base.

Panalux' LED Spring Ball is a battery-powered soft
light for use on set as a flexible source for practical
or generic lighting. Paired with Panalux flicker-free
F-Stop technology and a wireless DMX controller, the
light can be powered by mains or batteries.
